2014 Chestnut Oldenburg GOV Filly
An excellent opportunity to purchase an affordable, registered, premium warmblood filly. Shenandoah is an all around prospect with terrific athletic potential. She is brave, bold and has personality to spare! She hasn't been started yet, so she is a clean slate. Currently raised in pasture, she is stall broke, easy to handle and pleasant to be around. She is totally sound, barefoot and ready to go to work! She is the alpha mare of her group.
Sir Gregory was the winner of his 30-day test with a high overall score of 8.85, the highest score in the dressage phase of 9.08, and the very good score of 8.35 in the jumping phase. Sir Gregory is a very modern type stallion, of striking good-looks, with a beautiful head and neck. He has very correct conformation, his gaits are powerful, with a lot of elasticity, very good use of the hind leg, and he already shows a very good ability to collect. Sir Gregory also has a very good temperament, he is kind, smart and learns quickly, this goes hand and hand with his high rideability. He is a sought after sire, and was the leading sire of Premium Foals with the German Oldenburg Verband in North America 2011-2014.
Dam Rosebud is a noted broodmare, having produced Foals of Distinction in 2010, 2011, and 2012. All of her offspring have been Premium Foals or Foals of Distinction. Rosebud's dam Glestrina qualified for and competed in the Pavo Cup in Holland, and successfully competed at Intermediaire. Her sire Rubino Bellissimo was the first German Hanoverian Verband and AHS approved son by the great Rubinstein I in the U.S. He was a typical "Rubinstein" with super good mind and trainability; Rubino scored 8 for his character and 9 for his temperament. He was imported to the U.S. as a young stallion where he was trained and competed by Nicole Perry through Grand Prix. He later competed with U.S. paralympian Holly Bergay.
